Job Summary
The Producer will support virtual events being conducted across the FCB Health and specific FCB Global events, working closely with event organizers to ensure a smooth operation of virtual events. Events supported will include town halls, network presentations, workshops and large virtual meetings.
This role will provide technical support and provides meeting organizers best-practices and recommendations to ensure quality programs. The candidate has an in-depth understanding of platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom Meetings/Webinar and Blue Jeans Events. This position requires a strong level of relationship building, deep interpersonal skills and a superior knowledge of broadcast and live event production.
This role will manage internal and client projects utilizing live and virtual platform technology to provide a sussesful end-to-end event experience for our clients and internal teams. This individual will be able to utilize their technical, production and interpersonal skills to help prepare, test, and deliver our virtual events. You will partner closely with multiple internal departments to understand their needs and help deliver best-in-class production experiences.
You will be a self-starting, goal-oriented leader with a strong background in technical event production, in broadcast video, and virtual platform solutions. Interaction will include C-Level, Director-level, V.P. and senior contacts. Work must be conducted with the highest degree of professionalism in this dynamic, fast-moving business-focused environment.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate, schedule and run online production events
- Lead pre-production calls, advise team on best platforms to use as well as best-practices for execution.
- Oversee all production and technical aspects of an event, from directing production staff to testing equipment to managing the control room or area. They ensure the set-up and working order of all audio-visual equipment and work closely with technical directors to implement their vision
- During the initial stages of the event, the Producer participates in ideation, collaborating with team members, art and creative directors for the event in order to generate concepts and brainstorm ideas. They utilize extensive experience and event knowledge in order to help develop a plan for the execution of these ideas
- Performs webcast configuration, testing and delivery
- Organizes, prepares, and uploads event content (text, images, audio, video, etc.)
- Ensures highest quality event standards and provides frontline support across multiple events, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely matter and to the clients' satisfaction
- Establishes an excellent working relationship with assigned clients and internal teams; continuously strives to improve the level of overall service the company is providing
- Assist IT with technical difficulties, admitting attendees to event as well as troubleshoot with attendees that have issues with getting on the platform
- Assist all presenters with pre-production setup, ie. camera/laptop placement, lighting, audio and backdrops if necessary
- Lead and execute Run of Shows, directing and managing cameras, microphones and interactivity during events, ie. videos, graphics, question and answer sessions, gamification and polling
- Develop and maintain pre-registration and track online registration
Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience
- 5 years of professional experience, ideally in webcasting or a live, in-person audio/video production environment; control room experience preferred but not required
- General knowledge of video switching technology and terminology preferred
- 2+ years of experience setting up and running live streaming applications preferred
- Min 5-7 years of live event, production experience working with multiple production elements
- Microsoft Office Suite required
- Experience working with third party video streaming platforms required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Blue Jeans, Zoom, Vimeo and Adobe Connect preferred
- Adobe Suite of Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred
- Must have solid working knowledge of a/v equipment including digital video cameras, microphones, lighting systems, digital video playback systems, lighting/staging, video projection, webcasting technologies (live video/audio/content streaming) including encoders, media switchers, network configurations, control consoles and content delivery solutions

- Ability to coordinate multiple projects at various stages of the lifecycle

- Experience and a comfort level with large, live event production preferred

Education
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Graphic Arts, Digital Design, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
