Graphic Designer

Education

• University degree in Fine Arts, or Design diploma from OCAD or Community College

Key Hard Skills

• Computer proficiency - excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

• Knowledge of, or experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Lightroom an asset

Job Knowledge and Experience

• 3+ years as a designer/art director in various media including digital, social media video and print; ability to demonstrate skills through an established portfolio of work

• Experience with retail clients

• Demonstrated ability to apply broad range of fresh thinking to agreed-upon strategy

• Strong design sense

• Attention to detail- ensuring that all visual components are consistent with the overall concept and the brand essence and standards

• Ability to work on multiple assignments - in different stages of development

• Proven experience working across a broad range of media

• Ability to work with speed and efficiency
