Job Purpose 



The Account Supervisor plays an integral role within the account team through dedicated thought/brand leadership working towards executional excellence and management of the day- to-day workflow. This individual will be driven, buttoned down and passionate about delivering great ideas efficiently and flawlessly. The Account Supervisor will also manage, coach and develop direct reports.

 


Duties and Responsibilities 



• Flawlessly drive execution processes through the agency (integrated disciplines)
• Provide superior project management of day-to-day workflow
• Provide support to client meetings, setting objectives, and actively participate in selling Agency’s position
• Develop strategically sound briefs
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
• Work with clients to identify key challenges/opportunities that need to be addressed
• Use strong creative instincts and develop superior selling skills to ensure best possible creative gets sold
• Accurately manage budgets/resources on job-to-job basis
• Manage, coach and develop direct reports
• Delegate effectively
• Participate actively in the personal appraisal process to improve performance





 Qualifications



• University degree preferably in Marketing, Communications or Commerce
• 3 -5 years previous experience working in an advertising agency with a solid foundation in digital and mass disciplines.
• Interest in managing, coaching and mentoring junior staff
• Solid foundation and understanding of the key roles and responsibilities of Account Management
• Extremely organized with experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong oral and written presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a professional presentation
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success
• Demonstrate an interest and passion for advertising
• Confident in own abilities and ideas, and not afraid to provide input to the team
