THE ROLE
- Exemplify full brand understanding of client’s business and not only champions stellar, business-building ideas but knows how to effectively collaborate in order to bring those ideas to life.
- Champion and advocate for the best creative product.
- Display extraordinary attention to detail.
- Be fully versed in production and be able to analyze an estimate with an educated eye, run a shoot while managing client needs, and deliver the goods on time while exceeding expectations.
- Prioritize all account activities to achieve optimum efficiency and profitability.
- Provide strategic recommendations and manage all agency resources to ensure the client’s marketing needs are met.
- Demonstrate strength in building relationships with clients, creatives, and producers, not just in meeting rooms, but in hallways, at shoots, and over coffee-or beer.
- Oversee all day-to-day activities of various agency departments ensuring the delivery of a high quality product within specific deadlines.
- Scope management and ability to estimate/scope projects as needed.
- Ensure junior team members are delivering quality account management such as status reports and meetings, contact reports, and monitoring competitive activity.
- Become an expert in legal and regulatory review processes.
- Have the ability to follow and simplify complex thinking.
- Contribute thinking to strategy and creative development and aid in the crafting of all our recommendations.
- Provide an ongoing strategic audit of all owned projects, ensuring all content is on strategy and working towards goals.
- Manage 1-2 account team members.

THE COMPULSORIES
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience at an advertising agency or similar marketing company.
- Willingness to learn with an interest in industries that have complex functions and regulatory bodies.
- Experience with a breadth of media channels such as broadcast, print, social and digital.
- Strong verbal communication and attention to detail and organizational skills are critical.
- Ability to perform and to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment as an individual in a team environment.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to work proactively and autonomously in critical situations.
