The HR coordinator is the first point of contact for any HR related processes. He/she handles new hires, status changes, terminations, reimbursements/taxable fringes, employment verifications and accident claims, as well as managing personnel records. He/she is customer-service focused as they are often the front-line for general employee inquiries.

Essential Functions:
 
Payroll
Tracks, calculates and processes all appropriate pay-related items, requests and approvals for employee population. Reviews payroll by reconciling all HR transactions against payroll registers and resolves any pay discrepancies in conjunction with finance
 
HRIS Data Entry
Ensures completed and correct paperwork are submitted before making data entry. Enters all employment transactions in appropriate systems
 
Onboarding
Integrates new hires in a company by ensuring that all involved are promptly notified and prepared for their arrivals and all necessary paperwork are completed in a timely manner
 
Employee Engagement
Helps coordinate and participates in corporate events that are dedicated to employee engagement and culture promotion at FCB.
 
Administrative
Provides an administrative support to Human Resources by maintaining all employee and HR-related records up to date and in compliance, and responds to and processes employee or employee-related inquiries and routes them to appropriate contact(s) if necessary

Talent Acquisition:
• Conducts new employee orientation and prepares materials for onboarding (orientation, training, etc.).
• Processes new hire paperwork in a timely manner and in compliance with SOX regulations.

Compensation & Rewards:
• Tracks approvals for all salary adjustments.
• Processes tuition reimbursement claims.
• Calculates freelance pay and enters information into PeopleSoft RapidPay.
• Reviews PTO records, including unpaid time off, for accuracy during the new hire and termination process and assists employees in working with finance to complete time entries for PTO payout.
• In conjunction with finance, reviews payroll and resolves any pay discrepancies.

Talent Management:
• Participates in and helps coordinate corporate events (i.e. Take Your Kids to Work Day)

Operations (HRIS & Reporting):
• Enters all HRIS & PeopleSoft transactions (new hires, terminations, status changes) and reconciles work against payroll registers.
• Maintains personnel files, including separate files for I9 and EEO information.
• Manages worker’s compensation and unemployment claims.
• Responds to verifications of employment, as well as other inquiries.
• Runs reports/queries as required for shared services and department heads.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a Human Resources related role
