FCB Health seeks a Director, CRM to drive the day-to-day execution of CRM deliverables in this client-facing role. 

 

This temp to perm role would report into the VP, Director, Engagement Strategy & CRM. We are the CRM arm within a dynamic group of Engagement Strategists. As a team, we provide expertise across the full launch cycle from ideation to execution for our wide range of Pharma clients. 

 

Who you are:

  • You are a strategist at heart, with passion for customer-centric, data-driven marketing strategies and an eye for flawless execution
  • You have a strong background in pharmaceutical advertising, understand fair balance, and have a demonstrated knowledge of medical, legal and regulatory guidelines
  • You put the consumer/patient at the center of your thinking and decision-making
  • You have experience developing strategic approaches to reach HCP’s (health care professionals) and/or HCO’s (health care organizations)
  • You interact professionally with clients and demonstrate a client-focused approach to service their needs while simultaneously balancing the needs of your team and agency
  • You evangelize the role CRM plays in decision-making, triggering action, and forming habitual behavior
  • You work independently but also know when to tap into the subject matter experts on the cross-functional teams
  • You have led the strategic planning and cross-channel execution of pre-launch and launches initiatives in your current or previous roles
  • You have led consumer/patient persona work and segmentation and understand the value of 1:1 message targeting
  • You have successfully developed and presented strategic recommendations to drive decisions and win incremental business or pitches
  • You carefully plan ahead to ensure tasks are undertaken and time is used efficiently
  • You can task-switch and efficiently handle concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a demonstrated comfort with using available data to propose program optimizations and have contributed to the development of measurement and test plans
  • You have a talent for providing guidance and support to staff and will assist in training, development, mentoring and management of the team

 

Within months 1-3, you’ll:

  • Be assigned a Buddy to introduce you to the agency
  • Begin having your onboarding meetings to meet the team members you’ll work most closely with in departments like Account Management, Creative, Strategic Planning, Integrated Production, Marketing Science, UX, MarTech, Dev, and QA
  • Learn about our business, services, organizational structure to gain an understanding of what sets us apart and how you fit into the broader organization
  • Partner with other CRM leads to get a feel for the team language and ways of working
  • Demonstrate your expertise with applying Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategic principles to pharmaceutical advertising
  • Develop and present CRM | 1:1 Marketing Strategic recommendations that illustrate your expertise of database and 1:1 customer relationship marketing (CRM) channels like email, direct mail, mobile (SMS Text/MMS/Wearables), telemarketing and call centers
  • Showcase your experience in CRM strategic principles, database and 1:1 relationship marketing channels, audience segmentation, CRM DB (database) systems and Marketing Automation Platforms
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of CAN-SPAM, CCPA and GDPR requirements, postal mailing regulations and cookie consent requirements
  • Articulate your understanding of audience segmentation to reach HCP’s (Health Care Professionals), Prospects, Patients and Patient Caregivers to develop journey and messaging mapping as well as content frameworks
  • Demonstrate your experience partnering with Media teams to develop Non-Personal Promotional (NPP) and 3rd Party Media tactics to reach HCP’s while leveraging client target lists
  • Display your understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (DB) systems and Marketing Automation Platforms (like Salesforce, Campaign Monitor)
  • Participate in the Engagement Strategy Team meetings to understand our department’s priorities and deliverables
  • Demonstrate your ability to write project briefs, drive creative kick offs, develop business requirement documents (BRD’s) and edit functional requirement documents (FRD’s)
  • Provide input and direction on CRM and 1:1 marketing best practice, including: subject lines, preview links, content, messaging, cadence, trackable bit.ly links, data collection requirements, data privacy compliance, engagement and development of static forms vs. pop-up forms
  • Oversee the development of link matrices in partnership with our Marketing Science Analysts, as needed
  • Assist with updating the CRM Department Allocations sheet
  • Meet with the FCB WE Welcome Committee for an introduction to the culture and inclusion initiatives at FCB Health

 

Within months 4-6, you’ll:

  • Partner with Social Media teams to support lead gen tactics
  • Partner with Marketing Science Analysts to establish KPI’s, measurement, reporting and insights plans including testing and optimization plans
  • Showcase your experience with multi-channel vs. omni-channel marketing
  • Participate in the development of new business pitches

 

Within months 7-9, you’ll:

  • Lead workshops with clients on CRM planning; lead in designing, facilitating and moderating workshops to achieve client goals
  • Display your experience with more innovative marketing channels and tactical approaches, including interactive / kinetic emails, IVR, mobile apps, Social CRM, voice skill, addressable media, addressable TV, QR codes, website interstitials, pop-up forms, variable data, dynamic content and website personalization, conversational AI

 

Within 12 months, you’ll:

  • Recommend improvements to the current ways we work and initiate the documentation of process and workflow
  • Have expertly showcased your expertise in CRM strategic principles, database and 1:1 relationship marketing channels, audience segmentation, CRM DB systems and Marketing Automation Platforms
  • Be adept in cross-functional collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Have attended a Meet the Executive Leadership Breakfast

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience: marketing, advertising, market research, consulting

• 5+ years of CRM planning, pharmaceutical advertising experience

• Proactive, dynamic, hard-working, entrepreneurial

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Expert presentation skills

• Strong client service skills (for both internal account/creative teams and external clients)

• Skillful ability to rapidly task-switch and handle concurrent projects

• Collaborative spirit and management skills

• Team player attitude
