The Associate Strategic Planner is responsible for acting as a “social scientist” within the agency, collaborating with account, creative, and scientific team members build meaningful brands. The Associate Strategic Planner role is largely developmental, and individuals will be working very closely with/shadowing senior team members on day to day planning needs and projects.
  • Curious about learning what “makes people tick,” and finding creative ways to put it to use
  • Can distill complex information into engaging stories for agency team and clients
  • Eager to collaborate with other disciplines within the agency
  • Support building surveys, designing research methodology, and recruiting/conducting qualitative interviews
  • Conducting social listening
  • Reading key reports/literature on market, competitors and customer learnings
  • Synthesizing key insights from reports and market research
  • Competitive monitoring and analysis
  • Understanding competitor differentiation
  • Developing customer insights and brand positioning
  • Developing brand identity and personality with creative/account teams
  • Supporting development of workshop exercises
  • Live support during client/internal workshops
  • Work or college course experience in psychology, research, ethnography, sociology, marketing, or advertising
  • Promotional pharmaceutical marketing experience – healthcare experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communication or related field
  • Microsoft office, word, excel, PPT, Outlook
