Job Summary

 

Associate Search Director has 4+ years of experience in paid search marketing.  They are responsible for managing day-to-day search marketing activities including strategy, planning, implementing, analyzing, reporting, and optimization of paid search campaigns. They should be familiar with the roles played by Copywriter, User Experience, Technology, Quality Assurance, and Analytics. Strong methodical skills and web analytics background are needed to ensure success of search campaigns.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Develop, execute, and manage paid search campaigns on top tier search engines
  • Perform keyword research to optimize content and uncover new opportunities
  • Adjust and manage SEM campaigns as needed
  • Guide process, procedure, and integration with search, media, & analytics teams
  • Provide training and mentorship to entry level employees
  • Oversee the development of SEM strategies for clients
  • Lead strategy and planning for client presentations for new and/or current business
  • Develop a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market and how search plays a role in the decision making process
  • Review and analyze paid search metrics to make optimizations and recommendations 
  • Partner with analytics and media teams to develop KPIs and measurement plan
  • Communicate search project status to teams and/or clients on a regular basis
  • Contribute insights for ongoing education and new business initiatives
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
  • Stay abreast of new tools, trends and best practices in search marketplace through research and/or industry events and conferences

    Job Requirements & Qualifications

     

  • 4+ years of Search Marketing experience
  • BA / BS or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Google Ads and DoubleClick certifications preferred (not required)
