Hudson Global, a promotional medical education division of FCB Health, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Account Executive with medical education experience to join the team. To be based in scenic Yonkers, NY, the Account Executive will have the opportunity to partner with top pharmaceutical clients and collaborate with seasoned professionals in the medical education industry.

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of medical communications projects from inception to completion, including but not limited to, scientific platforms, key opinion leader (KOL) identification, advisory boards, live meetings and speaker training.

 

The primary aspects include the facilitation of multidisciplinary project teams, interfacing with each department within the company, meeting client and management expectations, establishing strong faculty relationships, and ensuring that programs remain on target and within agreed-upon parameters.

The Account Executive is responsible for budget development, maintenance and reconciliation, managing external suppliers, keeping programs on time and focused on primary objectives, providing ongoing updates to internal team members and client contact(s), and resource management.

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and thought leaders.

·         Ensure client expectations are met on all levels of program activity.

·         Establish and maintain a strong knowledge of client organizations, products, disease states, and medical education.

·         Conduct meetings throughout the project life cycle (kick off, status meetings, reconciliation/closure).

·         Manage budgeting, financial monitoring, and reconciliation of individual projects.

·         Schedule and conduct start-up, interim and final team meetings for each project, establish and maintain time and events schedules, and provide ongoing updates to client and team as required by account team on each initiative to ensure successful management and completion.

·         Facilitate progress of multidisciplinary project teams to ensure within-budget, on-time, on-strategy performance.

·         Owns the detail of daily account work on the project.

·         Oversee and facilitate development of all project activities, including faculty recruitment and ongoing communication, audience generation, content development, logistics and program materials.

·         Maintain and manage timely and professional written and verbal communications with clients and faculty members.

·         Contribute to new business development activities within the account team.

  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years as an accounts professional for a promotional medical education agency
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business or science
  • Strong acumen for Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communications and presentations skills
